When I left the company and the Player Development department, it was a mess. I use 'holidays' loosely because they say you get Holiday pay, but that's only around Christmas time Holiday pay should be Every federal holiday. Expect to work on Weekends and Holidays, especially if you work on the floor. Salaried positions will take you years to get because either 1.) The incumbent has been their for years and wont leave anytime soon 2.) highly competitive and sought after roles. Pay is worse too with rising cost of living. Depending on the position you can kiss M-F goodbye. Your work life balance will not be very good. If you don't have the skills in customer service, and don't know how to handle difficult people, then maybe MLC is not for you. I left the company for better opportunities. It was easy to be promoted from within, which is a plus. I started off in the restaurants, and from there I rose up in the marketing roles and player development.
I was an employee with Mystic Lake Casino for 2 years after College.
